Sheikh Salih bin Abdullah al-Khomeyd, one of the imams of the Kaaba, who gave a Friday sermon at the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, burst into tears while praying for those affected by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş in his Friday sermon.
PRAYER FOR TURKEY AND SYRIA
Sheikh Humayd prayed as follows in his prayer attended by thousands of Muslims:
“O Allah, remove the distress, affliction and suffering of our brothers in Turkey and Syria. May Allah have mercy on those who died, they died under the rubble, accept them as martyrs in your presence. O Allah, heal the sick and have mercy on the weak. Allah O Allah, feed the hungry and clothe the bare and naked. O Allah, send them a guardian (protector, owner) from Himself, and send us a helper from Himself.”
MILLIONS PRAYED FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS
In addition to the Masjid al-Aqsa in occupied East Jerusalem, millions of Muslims who prayed Friday prayers in many Islamic countries prayed for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
