In 20 of the 22 cities studied, parking rates in the inner cities increased, only in Hilversum and Hengelo did the prices remain the same. Prices rose the least in Leeuwarden, at 7 percent. The hourly rate rose the fastest in The Hague, where drivers pay almost 2.5 times as much. With a rate of 7.50, Amsterdam is the most expensive place to park the car.
