A man was found lying on the ground by the police on Nygatan in central Trelleborg shortly before 11 pm on Friday evening, according to information given to SVT.
The man had been shot with several shots. The police performed CPR on the man, who then went to the hospital in an ambulance.
The police have cordoned off the area and dog patrols are on site.
