It was an Airbus A300 cargo plane that took off shortly after 8 p.m. on Thursday evening, the airport states in a press release.
The plane was loaded with tents, beds, mattresses, food and electrical equipment and is a second to supplement the first aid shipment. On Sunday, a Boeing 747 took off with 300 family tents donated by the organization Lions. They have now been set up in Turkey.
The assignment is organized by the Norwegian Agency for Community Safety and Preparedness, MSB.
