History! The Norwegian Johannes Boe won his 5th Worlds gold medal this Thursday, February 16 and confirms that he is one of the greatest in the history of his discipline. Despite a penalty lap on the penultimate shot, the Norwegian crushed the competition with Marte Olsbu Roiseland to offer the title to Norway in the mixed relay event. Austria, thanks to a very good race, obtains the silver medal ahead of Italy.
France, defending champion, did not really make the weight in this race. Julia Simon put to rest, Quentin Fillon Maillet or even Emilien Jacquelin put aside, Fabien Claude and Lou Jeanmonnot had the heavy task of leading this relay and finished in 5th place more than a minute and twenty seconds behind the Norwegian duo.
