The office of the pension fund has been occupied by activists a few times. There is also pressure from Zeist itself. A number of concerned local residents are members of the fund and want a fossil-free pension. At the end of last month, for example, there was a chalk campaign in front of the gate of PFZW. “The protest is becoming more widely supported. I do not rule out the possibility that the fund will stop with these types of investments,” says Jelle Zijlstra of Greenpeace.
