A person has been arrested on probable cause on suspicion of aggravated weapons offense and aggravated promotion of escape after being discharged from Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping, the Prosecutor’s Office states in a press release.
The person was arrested on Wednesday evening.
It was on Wednesday last week that two armed and masked men freed a man who had been taken to the hospital in a Prison Service transport. The three men then quickly left the scene in a car.
On Thursday last week, the man was wanted internationally. According to several media, it concerns a 20-year-old from Malmö who was convicted of attempted murder last year. The police have not wanted to comment on the information other than that the man has been convicted of a crime.
