Printemps du Cinema dates films prices All the information

CINEMA SPRING. The dates of Printemps du Cinéma have been announced for the 2023 edition. Note that ticket prices will increase for the first time in years. Here’s what you need to know.

[Mis à jour le 15 février 2023 à 15h17] Every year, the Printemps du Cinéma offers moviegoers the opportunity to take advantage of a preferential rate to go to dark rooms. 2023 will be no exception since the event returns on March 19, 20 and 21 with one objective: to stock up on participating cinemas. Note however that, for the first time in years, the exceptional price increases from 4 to 5€ per session. A price which remains however below the average price of a cinema ticket in France.

The 2023 edition of Printemps du Cinéma will be held from Sunday March 19 to Tuesday March 21, 2023. Three days of film festivities that will allow fans to enjoy films at a lower cost but also those who go to theaters less regularly to get a cheap canvas.

Spring Cinema Prize

This year, the single price of the Printemps du Cinéma is increasing. After years at 4€ per session, Printemps du Cinéma 2023 will now offer a single price of €5 per screening. It should be specified that, of course, this price will only be applied in participating cinemas. Other important information: this offer cannot be combined with other price offers and that the supplements concerning films in 3D, in IMAX or special sessions must be paid extra of the 5 euros that the ticket costs.

Many films will be in theaters during the Printemps du Cinéma period. Among the films to see during Printemps du Cinéma is Darren Aronofsky’s drama The Whale starring Oscar-nominated Brendan Fraser. Scream 6, the sequel to the horror saga starring Jenna Ortega will also hit theaters. We can also discover the science fiction thriller 65: the Earth before with Adam Driver. On the French film side, we can take an interest in Sage-Homme, a dramatic comedy with Karine Viard. If you want something wackier, the black comedy called Crazy Bear where a bear is driven crazy by ingesting cocaine might surprise you. We should also mention the release of The Host, a disaster film by Bong Joon-Ho (Parasite).
