Samuelsson takes bronze in the Biathlon World Cup

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

On Friday, Sweden’s Sebastian Samuelsson took bronze in the pursuit start in the Biathlon World Cup, after making up a lot in the race, so it was full of hope for today’s distance race.

And although it started very well for the Swedes, when both Samuelsson and Nelin shot full, we got to see the Norwegian Thingnes Bö take the gold, but Samuelsson fought for the silver until the very end.

Before the final sprint, the Swede was twelve seconds behind Fillon Maillet, but caught up with incredibly strong riding.

Despite an incredible last lap, it was not enough for more than bronze, but only a frustrating 0.4 seconds from silver.

But another bronze medal for Sweden, then! Sweden has now taken home one silver and three bronze.
