Weapons missing from Danish Defense Museum

15 weapons have disappeared from Bornholm’s defense museum in Denmark, reports DR.
It was revealed in connection with a lawsuit against the association that runs the museum on Tuesday.
The association Kastellets Venner stands accused of weapons offences. Until November 2020, the museum had exhibited 180 firearms without having a firearms permit.
There was also no weapons permit for a number of hand grenades, smoke grenades, ammunition and weapon parts in the exhibition.
They will fall on Tuesday.

Police accidentally fired shots in locker room
The police in Östersund have reported an incident to the Work Environment Authority. This after a shot was accidentally fired inside a police station, reports SVT Jämtland.
The incident occurred last Thursday when a police officer, in connection with a change of clothes in the station’s changing room, “practically” drew his service weapon from its holster. A shot then went off, hitting a mirror sitting on a brick wall.
No one should have been injured in connection with the incident, the newspaper reports.
So many Finns want to join NATO without Sweden
Almost half of Finns, 46 percent, want Finland to join NATO without Sweden if the opportunity arises.
This is shown by a survey by the magazine Helsingin Sanomat have done to find out what the population thinks about the NATO issue.
38 percent state that they want to wait and join NATO together with Sweden, while the remaining 15 percent do not know.
Russian nuclear warships in the Baltic Sea – first in 30 years
Russia has deployed nuclear-armed ships in the Baltic Sea for the first time in 30 years, Norwegian intelligence said in its annual reportaccording to Politico.
“The largest part of the nuclear power potential is on the submarines and surface ships of the Northern Fleet,” the Norwegian intelligence service states.
Tactical nuclear weapons are “a particularly serious threat in several operational scenarios,” according to the intelligence agency.
The Prime Minister: Will respect Finland
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson comments on the information that Finland may join NATO before Sweden.
– We will always respect each other’s decisions and we are transparent. I don’t understand that the Finnish state leadership wants this, but they understand just like me that it is only Turkey that makes Turkish decisions. Formally, we are two different countries that have applied, he says at a press conference.
Man crushed by truck bed
A man has been crushed by a truck bed at a workplace in Uppsala.
The man has been taken to an ambulance and the police are on the scene to investigate the accident.

Higher than expected inflation in the US
Uncertainty was great before today’s inflation announcement. On Tuesday, the US Federal Reserve announced that inflation landed at 6.4%. It is higher than market expectations. Economists Bloomberg spoke to had forecast the annual rate of price growth to fall to 6.2% in January after a decline to 6.5% in December.

Increased camera surveillance in Sundsvall

Substitute teacher beat student – sentenced for assault
A substitute teacher at a primary school in the municipality of Ulricehamn is sentenced for assault and molestation of a primary school student, reports Ulricehamn’s newspaper.
The substitute teacher is said to have hit the student with a stick across the fingers, among other things. She is also convicted of three counts of molestation. This applies to an incident where the substitute teacher has kissed the student on the cheek with the aim of punishing him. She also allegedly urged several students to smack the student on the head. In the last case, the woman herself slandered the student, the newspaper states.
Despite her refusal, the woman is sentenced to a suspended sentence with community service for 75 hours.
SVT: Overload attack
