Announced in August 2022, Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh made a brief appearance this weekend during the Desert Bus of Hope in which Microids took part in order to help the Little Princes Association. Gianni Molinaro, Producer at Microids (and former Gameblog journalist who raged under the name of Plume) revealed a gameplay image to give us clues about the content of the title. It would seem that the Pendulo studio is going on a third-person adventure game if we are to believe this cliché. We recognize the reporter perfectly with his yellow shirt and his puff and the latter is inside a pyramid undoubtedly full of challenges to be met. We do not know if Pendulo Studios will resume the structure of its usual games (modern point & click) or if it will be a real TPS more open in its mechanics. It will probably take a few more months before Microids opens the floodgates on communication. According to the latest news, the release of Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh is scheduled for 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and of course Nintendo Switch.
