Malaga has made official this Monday the renewal of Luis Muñoz until June 30, 2025. The youth squad and the blue and white club had closed the agreement for weeks and at La Rosaleda they have chosen to communicate it now. The continuity of La Palmilla in the project is a firm commitment from the sports management of Malaga, which sees him as one of the project’s benchmarks of Martiricos for the next seasons.
The negotiations for the renewal have lasted for the last few months but at all times there has been good harmony and predisposition between the parties. The youth squad, 25 years old, now has a total of 69 official matches with Málaga: 5 in the First Division, 62 in the Second (6 goals) and 2 in the Copa del Rey.
Luis Muñoz heads these weeks the final stretch of his recovery. A few days ago he stated that he had about “two months” left to start field work with the group. His goal is to be able to reappear in full condition before the end of the season and help the team in the last games of the season. His absence is missing too much throughout the campaign.
