A new battle day is coming up in Pokémon GO. We’ll show you what to expect at the event.
When is fight day? The GO Battle Day with Vulpix runs on February 12th, which is Sunday. It starts at 12:00 a.m. and ends at 11:59 p.m. local time.
Important: There is a Vulpix bonus on that day, but only from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. During this time, you’ll get a Vulpix from each reward encounter in Battle League, and you’ll also have an increased chance of Shiny Vulpix.
Also, during this time, all premium battle win rewards are an encounter with Vulpix. So if Vulpix is your primary focus for your collection, play between 11:00am and 2:00pm.
Vulpix in PvP: Vulpix is an interesting Pokemon in terms of Battle League, because its evolution Vulnona is a good option in PvP in Super and Hyper Leagues.
The new Crypto-Vulnona in particular can do well there. But you can at least collect candies on the day of the fight.
What bonuses can you expect on battle day with Vulpix?
What is fight day anyway? Battle Day is all about the PvP League in Pokémon GO. On such days it is particularly worthwhile to compete in the battle league – recently there was also a battle day in January.
The new battle day with Vulpix gives you the opportunity to complete as many battles as possible. You can complete a total of 20 battle sets throughout the day instead of the usual five. You can complete a total of 100 battles that day.
Fighting this time:
Battle Day is especially worthwhile if you plan to climb the ranks in Battle League. But there are a few extra bonuses.
These are the bonuses:
Added to this is the aforementioned Vulpix bonus from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with Vulpix encounters and an increased Shiny chance.
Is fight day something for you? Or are you out of PvP anyway? Tell us in the comments!
Aside from Battle Day, there’s a lot going on in Pokémon GO this month. Rayquaza’s return is imminent, as is the Hoenn Tour in Las Vegas and the global version of the Hoenn Tour. In addition, as always, there are spotlight hours and raid hours with different Pokémon.
