Only days after the devastating earthquake, criticism is now coming from both local and international experts against the fact that the authorities have more or less turned a blind eye to construction fraud and thus worsened the disaster in Turkey. A group of engineers, for example, is said to have raised the alarm about shortcomings in construction safety.
It cannot be ruled out that someone, for example, cheated with the concrete.
In Turkey, they are now demanding that the government’s construction policy be reviewed, before the 2018 election, they launched a program where those who violated building regulations could buy themselves free by paying a fine.
