An explosion has occurred at an apartment building in Dalhem in Helsingborg at around 18.20. The entrance and facade have suffered extensive damage, but there is no indication that anyone has been physically injured.
Police initially set up cordons while they waited for technicians to examine the area and deal with any dangerous items that remained.
– We are not finished with the check and are working with caution because it has detonated something and we cannot rule out that there is still something dangerous at the scene, says police spokesperson Rickard Lundqvist.
Shortly before 10pm on Friday evening, the police announce that the cordons have been lifted and that their operation has ended.
The incident is being investigated as public-dangerous devastation. No one is arrested.
