Nightdive Studios’ System Shock Reboot demo debuted at Steam Next Fest a month before the game’s release.
At the Steam Next Fest event System Shock Reboot demo appeared. The demo of the production, which is planned to be released in March 2023, appeared at an unexpected moment.
System Shock Reboot, which first appeared at GDC in 2015, was silent for a long time after that and was canceled in 2018. Then, we got the players excited again with the new System Shock Reboot teaser released in 2021. And finally the game becomes reality.

In the demo released only for the PC version, we encounter some new enemy types as well as many improved features. The firm describes the Remake as “an enhanced version of the original game from 1994.” This means that all components such as visuals, controls, interfaces and even music have been updated.
System Shock is a 1994 first-person action-adventure video game developed by LookingGlass Technologies and published by Origin Systems. The game was directed by Doug Church and produced by Warren Spector. In addition, the voice of SHODAN in the original game was performed by the same artist.
Playing the role of a security hacker in the game, which takes place on a space station in the cyberpunk environment of 2072, the player tries to thwart the plans of a malicious artificial intelligence named SHODAN.
