(Finance) – This morning site inspection of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvinito the construction sites of the Village which will be destined for the athletes participating in the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympics. The project envisages that, at the end of the Games, the Village will be returned to the city community and transformed into the largest student of Italy, built in social housing, with about 1,700 beds, as well as residential areas, co-working spaces, services of general interest and public parks.

THE costs of the works for the Olympic village of Milan on theformer port of call of Porta Romana they have increased in a range “typical of construction sites, which we also experience in other parts of Italy, between 20 and 30%”, underlined Umberto Lebruto on the sidelines of the site inspection. “We are confident that as the months go by, things return to normal somewhat. If today there was a leavening, we are confident that tomorrow there may be a contraction“, concluded Lebrutus.
