Two stabbed south of Stockholm – one arrested

It was at 20.38 on Thursday that the police received an alarm that a person had been injured in Skogås.

– We have arrested a person after our investigative work, says Towe Hägg, press spokesperson at the police.

The extent of the injuries is unclear, but the injured person has been treated by paramedics.

In the police’s investigative work, it has emerged that there are two crime victims, but only one was injured by a stabbing weapon. Both crime victims are men and they are in their 20s and 30s. The crime classification is attempted aggravated robbery.

Later in the evening, shop staff were robbed in Farsta, a few kilometers northwest of Skogås. One person was injured by a stabbing weapon in the upper body. The person was taken to hospital.

– The initial information about his injury is that he is not seriously injured. We are looking into whether the events have a connection. We collect information and search for the perpetrator, says Towe Hägg.

The police have opened a preliminary investigation regarding attempted aggravated robbery and aggravated assault in that case.
