STRIKE RATP. RER, metro, bus, trams… The RATP is rather categorical about its traffic forecasts on Saturday February 11. It expects “no significant impact” on its network.
[Mis à jour le 9 février 2023 à 23h11] They are on the front line of the government’s pension reform project. This directly threatens the special pension scheme of some 40,000 RATP employees, or 93% of the workforce. And if the RATP strike was particularly followed during the previous days of national and interprofessional mobilization, this will obviously not be the case this Saturday, February 11, 2023. Thursday evening, the RATP indicated to the Figaro expect “no significant impact” on its entire network. Understand on the RER, but also on the metro, buses and trams.
At the beginning of February, the CGT-RATP, FO-RATP, the Unsa-RATP as well as the CFE-CGC-RATP had issued a press release inviting the employees of the company to “continue and amplify the mobilization by strike and demonstration on Tuesday 7 and then Saturday 11 February”. Note that more details could be delivered on Friday, on the eve of D-Day, in particular concerning the bus lines whose traffic will be directly impacted by the Parisian procession.
