Two events are running in Pokémon GO on Saturday and Sunday, in addition to Valentine’s Day 2023. Here we show you an overview of what content awaits you.
What’s going on in Pokemon GO? The Valentine’s Day 2023 event has been active in Pokémon GO for a short time. This brings you new shinys and special encounters with monsters. But there are two more events starting this weekend:

February 11: Limited research with Liebiskus
When does this start? The event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
What happens there? When you spin PokéStops Photo Discs, you can get field research there that will be activated specifically for the event. As a reward for solving these tasks, you will receive encounters with Liebiskus. With luck, the encounters can also bring you Shiny Liebiskus.
Wild Pokemon: In keeping with the Limited Research event, the Pokémon that you often meet in the wild are changing. That will be:
February 12: GO Battle Day with Vulpix (PvP)
When does this start? The event starts at midnight on February 12th and runs until 11:59pm on February 12th.
What bonuses are there?
Which leagues are active? During the event, you can participate in the Hyper League and Love Cup in the Super League Edition.
Temporary research: A Timed Research is available throughout the day. Experience points, Rare Candies, encounters with Vulpix and a Top Load TM await you as rewards.
