When the Social Support Act (Wmo) came into effect in 2015, there was an income-related personal contribution for help from the municipality. In other words: the more you earned, the more you had to pay for help yourself. This help, which may include a helping hand with groceries, cleaning or administration, is intended for the elderly, the chronically ill and the disabled who find it difficult to perform these tasks themselves.
