The past few months have been a celebration of indie horror. Smile – Do you see it too? became a hit in cinemas. M3gan enthusiastic fans. But nothing compared in terms of value for money to the ultra-brutal clown-smashing Terrifier 2, which grossed 50 times its production budget (via The Numbers). No wonder Terrifier 3 is coming.

Even after Terrifier 3, the horror is probably not over

Director Damien Leone told media site Insider:

I’m currently writing Terrifier 3. I want to do at least one more. But maybe you need two [weitere Filme]to implement all my ideas. There’s the clown for Art [David Howard Thornton], […] Victoria [Samantha Scaffidi] and [Terrifier 2-Heldin] sienna [Lauren LaVera] still more to explore.

Terrifier 3 is fine though not the only project currently pending for Leone. His horror hit has apparently also made waves among the icons of the genre, reaching Sam Raimi (Dance of the Devil), who is planning a project with the young director. However, Leone does not reveal any content.

When is Terrifier 3 coming to Germany?

When, how and if Terrifier 3 will reach horror fans in this country is still completely open. The theatrical release of the incredibly brutal predecessor seemed unlikely before. With a view to the production status and effort, however, we could choose one Release early 2024 introduce.
