The whole of Turkey was shaken by two earthquakes that took place in Kahramanmaraş yesterday, 9 hours apart. As the search efforts in the region continued uninterrupted, messages of support began to come from the world. After the earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş and affecting 10 provinces, a statement came from the CEO of the US technology company Google.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai used the following statements in the message he shared on his social media account:
“I’m thinking of all those who have suffered massive losses after the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. We have enabled SOS alerts to provide relevant emergency information to those affected and @Googleorg
and Googlers will support relief and recovery efforts.”

Apple CEO Tim Cook also shared a message yesterday and used the following statements:
“We send our thoughts and condolences to all those affected by the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Apple will donate to relief and recovery efforts.”
