I Know What You Did Last Summer is supposed to come with original stars
As Deadline reports, Sony is officially working on a new sequel to the 1997 horror classic. The screenplay is being written by Leah McKendrick, while Jennifer Kaytin Robinson has signed on to direct. The filmmaker most recently directed the acclaimed thriller comedy Do Revenge for Netflix. Her work on the film aims to Idea for a new I know what you did last summer sequel fueled have.
From the first part, the stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. in talks for the return of their characters condition. Following the success of I Know What You Did Last Summer, its two sequels I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and I Will Always Know What You Did Last Summer have been released. In addition, an Amazon series with the original title was released in 2021, which was canceled after one season.
Story details for the new I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel are not yet available. Whether us one Legacyquel a la Scream 5 expected or the film, like Halloween 2018, ignores all sequels after part 1, we will surely find out soon.
