Realme GT Neo 5Introducing on February 9, with 240W fast charging support. Today realmeA senior executive from , shared a teaser image confirming that the phone will have a second version with 150W fast charging.
The slower charging version (we’re talking about 150Watt when we say slow) will have a 5,000mAh battery that can charge from 0% to 100% in just 16 minutes, according to the company’s tests.
Realme already has a smartphone that supports 150W fast charging – this phone is powered by the Dimensity 8100 chipset GT Neo3 150W. Our real-life testing determined that its 4,500mAh battery takes 16 minutes to fully charge, so we’re wondering how the GT Neo 5 will compare. These numbers are truly incredible. One step to largely solve the charging problems of smartphones.
Expectations are that both versions of GT Neo 5 will have similar specs, with one big difference – the chipset in the 240W version will be made by Qualcomm, while the 150W version will be the Dimensity 8200 model with a 5nm chipset by Mediatek. The battery capacity of both phones is different. The biggest question is whether these phones will go on sale outside of China. Because usually such special models are produced only for China. I hope we will have the opportunity to see these models in our country.
