The world has mobilized for Turkey, messages of support are coming one after another to heal the wounds of the earthquake. An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 in Kahramanmaraş at 04:17 caused destruction in 10 provinces. Russia, Ukraine, China, the USA and many European countries took action to help. The leaders sent condolence messages to President Erdogan and Turkey.
“RUSSIA: WE ARE READY TO SEND 2 IL-76 AIRCRAFT”
Support messages from the world to Turkey are as follows:
Ministry of Emergencies of Russia: Due to the earthquake, 2 Il-76 planes carrying a search and rescue team of 100 people are ready to be sent to Turkey.
Russian President Putinsent a message of condolence to President Erdogan for the earthquake.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky: I extend my condolences to President Erdogan, the Turkish people and the families of those who lost their lives in the earthquake in Turkey, and wish a speedy recovery to all the injured. We stand by the Turkish people in this difficult time. We are ready to provide the necessary assistance to overcome the consequences of the disaster.
“NATO IS MOBILIZED FOR SUPPORT”
NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg We are in full solidarity with Turkey. I am in contact with President Erdogan and Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu. NATO allies are now mobilized for support.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan: We are ready to provide any necessary assistance. President (Joe) Biden has directed the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and other federal government partners to consider US response options to assist those most affected by the earthquake. We will continue to closely monitor the situation in coordination with the Turkish government.
Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Relations and Security Policy: The devastating earthquake this morning killed hundreds of people and injured many more in Turkey and Syria. Our thoughts are with the peoples of Turkey and Syria. The EU is ready to help.

Dutch Foreign Minister Wopke Hoekstra: We were shaken by the news of the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and the many injured Turks and Syrians. The Netherlands will send an Urban Search and Rescue team to Turkey. This team consists of police and military personnel, first aid teams and firefighters.
