today at 16.21 Emil Forsberg

The emergency services in Östergötland responded to a series of alarms on Sunday.

– We have big problems with very difficult road conditions, says Peder Helmer, the duty officer of the rescue service.

Have there been many accidents?

– God, yes. There have been any number of departures-

E22 is closed in both directions after a car drove into the guardrail outside Norrköping.

– It has been wedged into the wire railing. There are two people affected, but they are unharmed, says Peder Helmer.

– It is difficult for us to get the car free and right now there is a complete standstill in both the northbound and southbound directions.

Now the emergency services call for caution in traffic.

– Keep your distance to those in front and do not drive in the overtaking lane on E4. Take it easy, says Peder Helmer.
