England’s Daniel Gavins twice bogeyed the final hole, but still managed to win by one stroke after sinking a nine-metre putt for a double bogey.
Björk, a total of 16 strokes under par, finished with a bogey on the final hole to share second place with Zander Lombard, South Africa. The Swede finished the final round at four under par.
“I thought I had given the win away. I hit the water twice and thought ‘well, that’s a way to end a race too,'” Gavin told the European Tour website.
Lombard had the chance to reach a rematch with a putt from just over seven meters, but missed by a small margin.
