The Sweden Democrats and Richard Jomshof demand the resignation of national police chief Anders Thornberg. The reason is the national police chief’s inability to deal with gang crime in Sweden. Thornberg’s role has also been questioned after the scandal high up in the police authority. Leif GW Persson believes this is reason enough for dismissal:

Have lost confidence
Leif GW Persson believes that Thornberg has lost the trust of his employees out in the field. However, he does not believe that charges will be brought against him.
