Nintendo continues to create events around Splatoon 3 to keep its community active, and announces the arrival of the next festival. The latter will be held from February 11 to 13 and will allow players from all over the world to compete. Small novelty this time: the presence of three teams who compete instead of two. It will also be necessary to choose between three distinct colors: white chocolate, dark chocolate and milk chocolate. Of course, there are several rules to follow for the festival to run smoothly, and Nintendo has given the details of the different parts. We make you a copy-paste for simplicity:
First part of the festival
Defend your colors in 4v4 Territory Wars that you can participate in solo or in groups of two to four players. Depending on your victories, your defeats and the points scored by inking territory, you will obtain contribution which will influence the final result.
Second part of the festival
The second part of the festival marks the arrival of the tricolor war! In this mode, the four players from the top-ranked side face two players from the other two sides. The team that has inked the most ground after three minutes wins the game.
Tridenrocket and Scourge Fountain
The defending team must protect the Tridenfusée located in the center of the stage. If one of the two attacking teams seizes it, the Tridenfusée will emit a signal which will call a Tridenfer on the field. This will then deploy the Blight Fountain, giving attackers even more inking power!
Final result
At the end of the festival, the final result is calculated based on the total number of votes, collected conches and accumulated contribution. The side with the most points wins!
