Earlier, RTV Utrecht paid extensive attention to the frustration of residents of the city, who wanted to enlarge their house but found the municipality against it. The residents describe the situation as a bureaucratic hell. These residents also managed to reach Utrecht politicians and tell them their story. This led to a debate with alderman Klaas Verschuure (D66), who has spatial development in his portfolio.
