Do you remember Money Heist: Korea? That was the 2022 Asian remake of the Spanish hit Money Heist. With global audiences, this came out direct series remake as a Netflix indictment rather less good. The question of why arose. Was the streaming service hoping to repeat the success a second time or break into new markets? Whatever the motive behind it, Netflix is now repeating this “trick” and relaunching the second hit Spanish series: Class is Elite in India.

Class closely reflects the plot of Season 1 Elite. The new series title already takes up the Spanish original smoldering class conflict on: Three teenagers from the slums of Delhi are lucky enough to join an exclusive educational institution as students. But as soon as they arrive, the rumor mill begins to boil and hidden secrets lead to a murder. Just who is responsible for this?
Who knows: maybe naked bodies, parties and intrigues among students in uniform yes, a recipe that works multiple times on Netflix. At first glance, the remake offers little new apart from the cast and location.
