The Portuguese dog Bobi, of the Rafeiro do Alentejo breed, is officially the world’s oldest dog.
It was approved by the Guinness Book of Records on the first of February when Bobi was 30 years and 266 days old. The dog breed actually lives between 12-14 years.
The previous record was held by an Australian cattledog named Bluey who was 29 years and five months old when she died in 1939.
Dog lovers Anders Bagge and Johanna Lind talk about how they see their four-legged friends getting older, and how they think it is that Bobi has become so old.
