The hard work does not go unnoticed. “Thank you Jean!”, shouts a lady who passes by. “Yes, that’s sweet,” says Jean. “That’s Monique from the flat. She also knows how to keep order like no other. It’s very nice when you get that support.” Ideally, Jean would have liked the whole neighborhood to help clean up, but that is clearly not an option. “People have their own lives, are busy working and studying. Nothing wrong with that, but a little solidarity and help would be welcome now and then.”
