Big differences in the province: free map in Eemnes and De Ronde Venen
Vijfheerenlanden is at the top with regard to the rate for a disabled parking card, Eemnes and De Ronde Venen are at the bottom of the list. In those two municipalities, applying for a disabled parking card is free of charge.
“It was an administrative choice,” said the Eemnes spokesperson. “This target group already has a lot of extra costs due to living with a chronic illness or physical disability. That is why we do not charge the costs for the disabled parking card to the resident.”
