The police have an ongoing operation in Råcksta in western Stockholm.
– We have an operation at the scene, but no one is injured as far as we know. We are there and checking information that we have received, says Anna Westberg, at the police command center.
According to witnesses at the scene, many police officers are on site, including the picket.

Fire in the garage
There is a fire in a garage in Persberg near Filipstad.
Emergency services, ambulance and police are on site. The police write that it is a fully developed fire with a risk of spreading to adjacent houses.
The police also state that the extinguishing work is complicated as there appears to be some type of gas container in the burning garage.
– No one has been injured, says police spokesperson Mats Öhman.
Missing man found
The 85-year-old man who was previously reported missing in Västervik has been found.
The man has been found safe at an address in Västervik. Ambulance is on site for control.
USA: Russia is violating the nuclear agreement
Russia is violating the nuclear arms control agreement with the US. This is what a spokesperson for the US State Department says in a statement, reports CNN.
According to the spokesperson, Russia is not fulfilling its obligation under the START Treaty, which aims to facilitate inspections of nuclear weapons facilities.
Russia’s refusal thus prevents the United States from being able to carry out “important righteous work” under the treaty and thus also threatens the feasibility of nuclear arms control, according to the spokesperson.
The START treaty is the only remaining agreement governing the world’s two largest nuclear arsenals—Washington and Moscow—allowing inspections of each other’s weapons facilities.
Due to the pandemic, inspections have been paused since 2020.
Two children to hospital after traffic accident
According to the emergency services, a car must have collided with several pedestrians in Borås. Police and ambulance must be on site. The police write that several people may be injured, but it is still unclear to what extent.
Two children and a woman are said to have been taken to hospital by ambulance from the scene of the accident.
– The children must have been in a pram when the accident occurred, says police spokesperson Stefan Gustafsson.
The police have drawn up a report of negligence in traffic. The car has been impounded and the driver is suspected of drunk driving.
A three-year-old child died after a traffic accident
A three-year-old child has died after a traffic accident.
It was 15.03 when the police were alerted to a collision between a car and a truck on the E18 north of Köping.
Two people were taken to hospital, one with serious injuries.
Later, the police announced that a three-year-old child died from his injuries.

Elderly man missing
The police are looking for an 85-year-old man who has disappeared in Västervik.
The man must suffer from dementia and may become disoriented, the police write.
The man is said to be approximately 185 cm tall, wears glasses and has gray hair and gets around with the help of a walker. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue fleece sweater.
Recycling center cordoned off – explosive bottles found
The emergency services have cordoned off an area at a recycling center in Övreskog in Ulricehamn, reports Ulricehamn’s newspaper.
Police are called to the scene after bottles with suspected explosive contents have been found.
– A container has been blocked off and locked. Should we look at this situation with the help of the national bomb protection tomorrow, it is not considered urgent, says Stefan Gustafsson, press spokesperson for the police in the west region.
Two people to hospital after single-vehicle accident
A passenger car must have overturned north of Olshammar near Askersund.
According to early information to the police, two people are supposed to have traveled in the car. Both people were taken to hospital by ambulance.
The extent of the damage is unclear.
Truck and car in accident – two to hospital
Two people have been taken to hospital after a traffic accident between a car and a truck in Köping.
A person must be seriously injured.
There is a standstill along the E18 in the direction of Köping and traffic is moving slowly in the direction of Västerås, the police write on their website.
Suspected murder in Varberg
The police in Varberg received an alarm on Tuesday morning about a suspected violent crime in central Varberg. When the police arrived at the scene, a dead person was found in an apartment. A man is now arrested, reasonably suspected of murder, reports Halland’s news.
– When the patrol arrived at the scene, they found a deceased person in the apartment. There was also a man at the scene who was arrested, says Peter Blyh on the crime watch to Halland’s news.
During the day, the site was cordoned off while police technicians examined the site.
– Based on the technicians’ investigation, we cannot rule out that a crime has been committed. We will have to wait for the results of the autopsy, says Peter Blyh.
Woman taken to hospital after driving into house wall
A woman in her 60s is said to have driven into a house wall near a restaurant in central Stockholm, according to the police it is a suspected case of illness.
– There is no suspicion of crime, say the police.
The woman is taken to hospital by ambulance.

Nora, it is worth pointing out that the Nordic countries have like all other countries behind them on the corruption list, so that Sweden would be second worst in terms of corruption in the Nordics is actually not particularly bad at all! You can turn it around, like the fourth country with the least corruption in the whole world. It’s not that bad, is it?

What was a little interesting, however, was that Sweden lost and got its worst ranking in 11 years. Although it is of course a very good position internationally.
Strange that AB didn’t write a line about Botkyrka’s Social Democrats being taken over by gang criminals…

If you do not want to register your account, and do not receive a general pension from the Pensions Authority, you will receive a payment notice sent home.
