A 35-year-old man accused of second-degree murder will return to court in March.

Marvin Garraway appeared in Chatham bail court via video Friday. His matter was turned over to March 3 for further pre-trial instructions.

Garraway will be remanded in custody until that date.

According to previously published reports, Garraway was allegedly involved in a fight during the afternoon of Oct. 7 at a Colborne Street home in Chatham.

Police were notified later in the afternoon that a man had arrived at hospital in Chatham with life-threatening injuries.

Despite life-saving efforts, police reported the man, identified through court documents as Randall Rouse, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
