The final result of the global market data is now on the table in terms of sales figures, where Fiat Egea has reached the top in Turkey. In this context, in the list of the world’s best-selling cars, where we had the chance to see the details, Toyota Corolla does not leave the top to anyone. The Corolla, which Toyota started to produce for the first time in 1966, became the world’s best-selling model with 1.12 million units. According to focus2move data obtained from the markets of 162 countries, Toyota Corolla took the first place with a difference of 250 thousand units.

Apart from Toyota Corolla, other models of the family also drew attention in the list.
Toyota’s success as a brand is also remarkable in the list formed in the light of the shared data. Another Toyota model, the RAV4, took the second place with 870 thousand units. While Toyota continued its global success with Corolla and RAV4, the two best-selling models in the world belonged to the Toyota brand. RAV4, one of the flagships of the family, achieved the title of the world’s best-selling SUV in 2022 with this success. In the fifth place of the list is the E segment model Camry with over 675,000 sales units. Names such as Ford F-Series, Tesla Model Y, Honda CR-V, Toyota Hilux, Tesla Model 3 and Hyundai Tucson are also in the top 10.
