Eemdijk – The marathon skaters cannot ride their first race on the natural ice of the Austrian Weissensee on Thursday. The organization deleted the so-called Aart Koopmans Memorial because there is a layer of snow of 40 centimeters on the ice. From our region, the Hoolwerf family, in the person of Willem, Evert and Bart, from Eemdijk, was among the contenders.
