Asteroids are among the extraterrestrial threats. In fact, there are those who think that if a sufficiently large asteroid hits the Earth, humanity will end. The US Aviation and Space Agency (NASA), one of the most famous space agencies that continues its research in the depths of space, has made a flash announcement. NASA has announced that the pickup truck-sized asteroid will come pretty close to Earth but won’t crash.

In the NASA statement, it was stated that the asteroid named “2023 BU” will be one of the closest to Earth.
The asteroid “2023 BU” will pass 3,600 kilometers above the atmosphere in South America in the evening today.

IT’S COMING VERY CLOSE BUT…
Scientists reported that the asteroid will come very close, but most of it will burn in the atmosphere and some large pieces may fall as meteorites.
The diameter of the asteroid is estimated to be between 3.5 and 8.5 meters.
Detected by amateur astronomer Gennady Borisov in Crimea, the asteroid’s trajectory is expected to change drastically due to Earth’s gravity.
According to NASA, the asteroid will enter an oval orbit that will last 425 days instead of orbiting the Sun every 359 days. (AA)
