According to the police, several accidents are due to severe slipping.

Bus was forced to turn

The accident with the bus happened at a roundabout on county road 169 in Tjörn at 08.30 on Thursday morning. The driver of the car slid over into the opposite lane and the bus driver swerved and drove into the ditch.

– There were nine passengers on board the bus, but no one was injured in the accident according to information on the spot, says Fredrik Svedemyr.

The driver of the bus was checked by an ambulance at the scene, but was not taken to hospital. The police believe that it is a traffic accident without suspicion of crime.

Several accidents in a short time

At nine o’clock in the morning, a car overturned on county road 604 in Ytterby, Kungälv. The driver is out of the car and at the moment there are no reports of injuries, but police, emergency services and an ambulance went to the scene.

Two more car accidents have occurred in the Kungälv area during Thursday morning.

There have also been other accidents in Western Sweden, for various reasons. Early in the morning, a small truck was driving on national highway 27 at Viaredsmotet outside Borås. The driver ended up outside the truck and was taken to hospital. The driver must be awake and talkative. The police drew up a report of negligence in traffic.

Shortly after 08.30 in the morning, two cars collided on the E20 at Jonseredsmotet. According to the police, one of the drivers has blown positive and has been taken for a check, suspected of serious drunken driving. The accident caused queues on the E20 and the police had to direct traffic.
