Zlatan Ibrahimovic is approaching a comeback.
Now he has taken a big step on the way back.
The star also has a new date when he hopes to be back – and it’s not for just any game.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 41 years old but doesn’t seem to have any plans whatsoever to retire from football. Last year he was forced to have extensive surgery on his knee, and that would have caused many to hang up their boots, especially at that age, but not Zlatan.
Powerful message
Instead, he was determined to return to set new records, helping Milan in the Champions League and in defending the league title. The first reports indicated that the Swede would be back in mid-January, but it has been delayed. Instead, he has taken it more cautiously than planned in order not to suffer a setback, but now comes new information about his comeback.
According to information, the Swede has now set a date when he wants to be back – and it is with a clear goal in mind. According to Corriere dello Sport, Ibrahimovic’s rehabilitation is now going exactly as planned, and this week he participated, for the first time since the operation, in a training session with the ball with Milan. A big step, and clear proof that a comeback is close, to say the least.

The date he is aiming for
The Swede will now continue to train with the ball, but on his own, before stepping into match-like scenarios in training, with the group. According to the newspaper, Zlatan must have a special match in mind when it comes to his comeback: And it’s not very far away.
On February 14, the Champions League group stage starts, and for Milan an exciting double meeting against Tottenham awaits. Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s big goal is now to be back and in the squad for the first meeting, and thus be able to contribute to helping the team further in the playoffs. You can’t do anything but respect Ibra, what incredible will!
