Poco X5We had received a lot of information from leak sources before. Even Geekbench test scores had come. Now we have the information of the Pro version that I have never seen a leak before. This is new news for everyone, but a European seller has already listed the device as “coming soon” and has released an almost complete spec sheet.
According to the technical specifications shared by the Seller Xiaomi Poco X5 ProIt will come with a 6.67” AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels (20:9). The refresh rate is unfortunately not mentioned, but Poco X4 Pro It can be expected to be like 120Hz.
Let’s continue with the technical specifications of the phone. The phone is a solid all-round upgrade over the Snapdragon 695 found in the X4 Pro. Snapdragon 778G supported by. The vendor mentions that there will be two memory configurations (6/128GB and 8/256GB), both with a microSD card slot. The phone apparently runs Android 12 with MIUI 14 for Poco.
The main camera, like last year’s model, has a large 108 MP 1/1.52” image sensor (0.7µm pixels) with f/1.9 aperture. However, thanks to the upgraded chipset, 4K video recording is now possible. Other cameras on the back support 8MP ultra-wide (118°) and 2MP macro mode. On the front, there is a single 16MP selfie camera.
The power system is a big 5,000mAh same as before with battery and 67W wired fast charging. It has Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and an IP68 rating for protection. It might be a good upgrade considering its previous water resistance level was IP53.
No word yet on price. At launch, the X4 Pro was €300 for the 6/128GB model and €350 for the 8/256GB model. Overall, the Poco X5 Pro doesn’t seem to change much, but the Snapdragon 778G will have a big impact on performance. As for the colours, you will have three choices: Blue, Black and Poco Yellow.
The seller has also listed the details for the Xiaomi Poco X5. It has a Snapdragon 695 chipset (as seen on Geekbench) and a 120Hz refresh rate, 6.67” AMOLED display (1,080 x 2,400 pixels), which makes us think the Pro has a 120Hz display. The basic X5 only has an IP54 rating, which sounds more convincing.
Its regular model is similar to the Pro, but still consists of a main camera with 8MP ultra-wide (118°) and 2MP macro and 48MP resolution as the Main camera. There will be no 4K video recording on this phone. On the front, there will be a 13MP camera.
Another change is in the battery – the capacity remains at 5,000 mAh, but the charging speed drops to 33W.
Like its sibling, the Poco X5 is listed in 6/128GB and 8/256GB configurations (expandable via microSD). There are no details about pricing information. It also offers three color options: Green, Blue and Black.
Note: The Poco X5 Pro image looks the same as the X4 Pro. maybe Xiaomi didn’t change the design, maybe the retailer reused an old image. Technicial Specifications Redmi Note 12 Pro SpeedIt looks very close to.
As for the regular X5, although the specs have little in common (plus, the color groups listed don’t match the images), the image is remarkably Redmi K50ilooks like . Specs, except chipset Redmi Note 12much closer to .
