It is known how difficult it is to overcome skin and hair problems. Although various care products are used to get rid of these problems, these products often do not provide successful results. Semih Gürel, a medical school student who produces soap from hazelnut oil in Eynesil district of Giresun, says that hazelnut soap is used for psoriasis, eczema and fungal diseases; He said that it is also good for acne and hair loss.
SOAP EXPERIENCES DEMAND EXPLOSION
Semih Gürel, 25, a senior medical student, produced soap from hazelnut oil at home. University student Gürel, who created a workspace of his own in a corner of his house, stated that he experienced an explosion in demand after producing the soap. Gürel said that the soap he produces is good for hair loss, hair growth, psoriasis, eczema, acne, fungus and bad odors in the body.
“I MADE A QUANTITY OF SOAP WITH THE GOAL TO BE THE FIRST IN TURKEY”
Semih Gürel, a senior student at Ankara Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, stated that he started the idea of making soap from hazelnut oil out of curiosity and said, “Schools were closed at the beginning of the 2020 pandemic period and I returned to my home in Giresun. I wanted to produce something instead of being idle at home. I thought of it. hazelnut soap arrived. I did market research and couldn’t find anything clear. I made some soap with the aim of being a first in Turkey. I distributed the first soaps I made to my close circle. At this stage, I completed the trial stages, created a formula for myself. When school started, I went back to Ankara. I came back to Ankara in 2022. I established a health company with a friend of mine in Ankara. We also made aromatic soaps here, but hazelnut soap was left aside,” he said.
HAZELNUT OIL WITH THE HIGHEST VITAMIN E
Stating that Giresun hazelnut is the best quality hazelnut in the world and that it has received geographical indications registration certificate from the European Union, Gürel said, “Hazelnut oil is the most beneficial oil. Among vegetable oils, the oil with the highest vitamin E is hazelnut oil. It has the highest folic acid. The most rapidly absorbed and digested oil is hazelnut. Unfortunately, hazelnut oil is not valued properly. While other oils boil at 180 degrees, hazelnut oil boils at 240 degrees. Another feature is that it does not smell. While making the hazelnut soap, I met with our politicians, health professionals and hazelnut traders. I received intense moral support from all of them. I conducted a public opinion poll. They They also supported us,” he said.
PRODUCTION CONTINUES FOR 2 MONTHS AND IS MADE ORGANIC
Stating that he prefers to use 2 scientific methods while making soap, Gürel said, “Firstly, I make my soap by hand without boiling it. Normally, bath soaps are made in 1 or 2 hours and used in the evening. My soap is made in 2 months. My oil is only made from Giresun hazelnut oil. “I don’t use oil. I mix the mixture I made for exactly 3 hours, then pour it into the molds I prepared and dry it for 1 week. I never boil it. I don’t use any machine either. After removing it from the molds, I wait for about 2 months and release my soap in its most mature form.”
IT IS GOOD FOR MANY DISEASES
Explaining the wounds of hazelnut oil on the human body, Semih Gürel said, “Hazelnut oil soap is good for hair loss, hair growth, psoriasis, eczema, acne, acne, fungus and bad odors in the body,” Gürel said, “Hazelnut oil soap has a cleansing feature. At the same time, in the production of natural soap, glycerin is formed in the content of the soap itself. I want the glycerin to stay in my soap. Because glycerin provides the body with moisturizing and skin softening properties. My next goal is to complete the official transactions and to deliver hazelnut soap to the whole world together with exports,” he said.
