Between general practitioners, specialists, nurses, caregivers and home helpers for the elderly, there is a shortage of more than 290,000 caregivers in Germany. The PWC firm evokes 1.8 million unoccupied positions by 2035. A real disaster as the population ages.
To remedy this, Germany is trying to attract foreign labour. The candidates are numerous, but the path difficult to be able to work in Germany.
