The Oscars this Tuesday, the César tomorrow Wednesday: it’s the period of nominations for the prestigious film awards. Ceremonies which are regularly the occasion of a political platform. But is this commitment more and more in decline? And what about the threats of two French rock groups to boycott a festival because the city concerned is held by a member of the National Rally? How far should an artist’s mission go?
