We’re not entirely sure why Vivo is so committed to the Y55s name, but we’re facing another phone with the same model name. Not to be confused with the Y55s from 2017 or the Y55s 5G from 2021. However, its characteristics are quite similar to the latter. However, this new Y55s 5G is on sale all over the world.
The main difference we can see is that the new Vivo Y55s has a 6,000mAh battery of the same name. 5,000 mAh having a smaller battery. Apart from that, still 18W it has charge. All other features look the same. The phone measures 164 x 75.84 x 8.25 mm and weighs 187 grams. It can be in blue and black colors.
It has a 6.58-inch, FullHD+ (2408 x 1080) LCD, MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage. There is no 8GB RAM option as in the 2021 variant.
In the camera section 50MP, f/1.8 main camera and two additional 2MP, f/2.4 cameras on the back – one for portrait depth information and the other for macro shots. This is technically one more camera from the 2021 version of the phone. at the front 8MPIt has f/1.8 selfie camera.
The new global Vivo Y55s 5G model 5250 TL it looks like it will take its place on the shelves in the price band. We will see in the coming days whether this model will come to our country.
