Several tons of household waste have ended up in a river in Bosnia as a result of illegal dumping.
A huge waste raft containing more than ten thousand cubic meters of garbage has formed in the Drina river, which flows through the Balkans.
The raft in Bosnia-Herzegovina has been formed little by little after people illegally dumped various household waste into the river.
The waste tray contains, among other things, plastic bottles, car tires, and used household appliances.
The waste has accumulated in the river from several tributaries of the Drina, as well as from the illegal landfills located near it.
They have remained in place near the dam of the hydroelectric plant near the city of Visegrad.
