The post didn’t completely unexpectedly send the stock soaring, only to then plummet just as quickly. A number of investors have now taken Musk to federal court as they believe the billionaire is responsible for their financial losses.
Musk, who bought Twitter last year, has already paid a fine to the US financial watchdog SEC for the post in a separate lawsuit.
