It was when the employee was about to reject a messy guest that shots were fired, in the middle of the pizzeria’s other guests.
The men charged are in their 20s and 25s. The 20-year-old is charged with attempted murder, aggravated weapons offences, aggravated unlawful threats and causing danger to others. The prosecutor believes that it was the 20-year-old who shot the employee in the upper body.
The 25-year-old was arrested for, among other things, aiding and abetting attempted murder. Later he was released but now he is charged with aggravated protection of a criminal. The 25-year-old allegedly drove the 20-year-old to Gävle after the shooting.
The men are criminally charged
Both men are currently registered in the Stockholm area but have previously lived in Sandviken.
The 20-year-old was sentenced to one year in prison in 2021 for aggravated assault, after stabbing another person.
The 25-year-old was last sentenced in 2020 to prison for two years and six months for, among other serious weapons crimes. This after he was taken with a weapon and associated ammunition in his former residential area in Sandviken.
